Crazy few days!!

Wow, what a crazy few days! My parents were up for my brother Shea's prophecy. It was really nice to see them and spend time with them. They live in New England, and they don't get as much snow as we do up here, so my Dad was pretty excited to see what we have been getting these past few days! They live on the East Coast (near the ocean..must be nice,huh?) We went out to eat with them and ate lunches together,etc.

Dave and I also added to our family..no..not a baby yet...another little puppy. She is my Valentine's present from Dave (wasn't that sweet of him?) I am so glad the pet policy has changed in our apartment complex. It's really nice to have something to care for and take care of while it's just us. Some of you may say that you are not dog people, or pet people in general, well, you would change if you met her! She is the cutest thing and full grown already! She's almost 7 months old. We got her from a breeder about an hour from where we live. She's finally warming up to us, for awhile she was missing her Momma. Now she's spolied rotten! She's a chocolate and tan dachshund, just like our other puppy, but with dark brown instead of black. I tried to upload a picture from my camera phone, but to no avail! Oh well.

I'll try to work on that. She is also an escape artist; we have a 5X5 pen for her,which is 3 feet high and she still manages to get out of it! We came back yesterday for lunch, and she was laying on the bed staring at us...she pulled the pen back in such a way that she was able to climb up a corner! good grief....
