I know I haven't written for awhile. We had a hectic Christmas driving out to Indiana to see family, and on the way back, we added to our family, a 5 1/2 pound mini dachshund named "Charlie Brown"! He is a black and tan smooth coat. He follows us around like a little lamb, although he's not as docile. He is like a little toddler, we have to watch him to make sure he doesn't get into anything! The funny thing is, he hardly ever barks, for awhile, we were wondering if he did bark! He whines and barks only if we leave him, and after a couple minutes he goes to sleep. All in all, he's a blessing and a very sweet puppy.
Anyway! The Jim Brickman concert was wonderful. We not only heard Jim on piano, but we heard Tracy Silverman (Instructor at Julliard) Anne Cochran, and Richie McDonald (Formerly of Lonestar) They sang Christmas songs, and Jim Brickman also did solo piano pieces, so soothing. It was at the Embassy Theatre in downtown Fort Wayne,IN. I loved every minute of it. What a great way to end Christmas. For New Year's, Dave and I spent a quiet New Year's at home, just me, Dave, and Charlie. We bought party hats and party lei's, and ate Sushi (non-fish kind) and toasted to the New Year with Martinelli's Apple cider...very fun.
It's 9 degrees here by the way, so if any of you want to switch with us, we'd be more than happy to! ;)
